Ponce, Puerto Rico
Del Sur Adventures – Located in Ponce, PR Del Sur Adventures features zipline tours above the highest mountain range in Puerto Rico, Cerro Punta at 4,389 ft. They offer tours for beginners and intermediates and each tour features ziplines, jumps, rappelling, slides, and hiking. Follow on Facebook or @delsuradventure on Twitter. Rio Grande, Puerto Rico
Rain Forest Zipline – Listed as a “Magical View of the El YunQue Rain Forest” Rain Forest Zip Line Corp. offers zip tours with six lines and eight platforms. Reservation by phone is required 24 hours before the scheduled tour. The tour takes 2 hours per group. Unique hiking trails surround the area, including a trail that ends at a 35 foot waterfall. San Juan, PR
Acampa Adventure Tours – Located on a private reserve just 40 miles from San Juan this 1/2 day tour includes hiking near waterfalls, a total of 6 zip lines. Don’t be surprised if a native bird accompanies you, doing a fly-by, while you are zipping. Follow them here on Facebook.
Toro Negro Waterfall and Zipline Adventure – Zip through the “roofline” of Puerto Rico during this full-day adventure. Located at the second highest mountain Cordillera Central. It is a 90 minute drive to Toro Negro from the metropolitan area. Hike through a coffee plantation, waterfalls, and rock climbs. Expect to get wet! You will experience six fast ziplines and enjoy lunch with a view prepared by a local family when you are done.
Aventuras Tierra Adentro – This tour is called “canyoning” and is similar to rock climbing. The tour follows a river downstream using rappelling, ziplines, jumping from ledge to ledge, diving through waterfalls, and swimming. Campo Rico Ziplining – Just five minutes away from San Juan this zip course includes 5 exciting zips. The adventure includes a hike, kayaking, a view of the coastline meeting the Atlantic Ocean, and zipping over plantain fields. One of the ziplines is 200 feet above the ground! EcoQuest Adventure and Tours – Featuring the San Salvador Rainforest Ziplining and Rappelling tour, which is a full-day of ziplinning across stunning canyons and rivers and rappelling into an 80ft waterfall. You will enjoy a traditional meal in a country setting at the end of your adventure. This tour is located 40 minutes from San Juan. Follow on Facebook.
Tropical Adventure Guides – Visit a private eco farm to begin your zipline adventure, which includes over the canopy zips, treetop platforms and a swimming hole. At the end of the tour you will be served a typical Puertorrican meal. The tour is located just 30 minutes from San Juan and 15 minutes from Dorado. Follow on Facebook.
Rocaliza – The El Salto Waterfall Zip Line and Rappelling Adventure takes place 45 minutes south of San Juan near the city of Caguas. You will hike and climb upriver using secured ropes, rappel 80 feet down a waterfall, and zipline over 1500 feet of cables, before taking a dip in a river pool. Batay del Cemi – The Batey Classic Tour features a bit of everything, for those that want a half-day tour. You will visit a cave, rappell, cross 6 different zip lines and take a hike.
