East Coast Ziplines
This is a mobile zipline company that actually rents ziplines for parties and other types of events. The zipline is 220 feet long and includes an escape slide. The rental company serves Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia.
GO-Adventures Zip Line at Highpoint Farm
The zip line experience at Highpoint Farm provides participants with a super fast ride for more than 750 feet. The zipline is typically a culmination of the ROPES Course, and is ridden after a day of low ropes and team building exercises. The facility is located in Clarksburg, Maryland.
Go Ape! Rock Creek Park
The Go Ape! canopy tour at Rock Creek Park, in Rockville, Maryland is a 2-3 hour experience that includes 5 ziplines, the longest being 600 feet long. There are also 38 different obstacles, 2 Tarzan Swings, all 40-50 feet above the ground. The total length of combined ziplines is more than 2,000 feet long. The course is located at Freedom Park near Colonial Williamsburg.
Savage, Maryland is the home to Terrapin Adventures, an outdoor adventure experience featuring 12 different ziplines running from the Terrapin Tower. There is a high and low challenge course, featuring four different levels of fun and excitement. Other activities at Terrapin Adventures include kayak tours, geo-caching, bike tours, bike rentals, river tubing, fly fishing, horseback riding, windsurfing, and more. Terrapin Adventures is just 30 minutes from Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
The Adventure Park
This Sandy Spring, Maryland adventure challenge consists of 13 separate courses that are rated from easy to extreme. The course is made up of crossing bridges, climbing ladders, obstacles, and ziplines. The park is billed as the largest aerial park in North America. There are picnic tables under a tent that are perfect for parties and family celebrations. Programs run from 9-2pm and are available Monday through Friday.
Located in Adamstown, Maryland Upward Enterprises is a Ropes Challenge Course for team building activities. There are both low and high elements to traverse, including a team obstacle course, a climbing and repelling tower, and a zipline, which is 600 feet in length, and 60 feet above the ground. There are over 80 different elements to master.
