There are plenty of mountainous regions in this state, so there’s no shortage of ziplining fun!

San Diego, California

Navitat Canopy Adventures zip line is located in Wrightwood, California, 92397. This is a complete tree based zipline in the San Gabriel Mountains. A total of ten ziplines go as long as 1,500 ft and as high as 300 ft! You can also experience their sky bridges and rappelling. Visit site for latest hours and admission prices. UC Berkeley, Calfiornia has a Rope Course in which you can hone your skills with activities such as rappelling, zip lines, climbing and more. They have half day and full day programs.
Catalina Island, California
Catalina Island Zip Line Eco Tour – 5 zip lines as high as 500 feet and as long as 1100 feet. Total ziplines cover about 3/4 of a mile near Avalon and Descanso Canyon and ends up on Descanso Beach. Big Bear Lake, California
Action Zipline – Has 9 ziplines ranging from lengths of 120 to 860 feet. Reach speeds of up to 35 to 45 mph. They are the only zip line that has a permit to operate within the San Bernardino Mountains. They also have portable zipline services for fairs, festivals, special events and more. Lodestone Adventure Ziplines – Also known as Flying Bear Ziplines. Zip line adventures available in Big Bear Lake, California and Corona, CA.
Skull Canyon Zip Lines– Two zipline courses on 160 acres of mountain terrain. Original course has a length of 2500 feet and features six ziplines and one bunny zipline. Their extreme course has a length of 4500 feet, three zip lines and one bunny

Cave and Mine Adventures at Moaning Cavern Adventure Park – A 1500 foot Twin zip line available at this location – ride 40 miles per hour and faster! Ride regular, tandem and fly like Superman. Follow them at @cmadventures on Twitter or on Facebook/moaning.cavern.
Lake Tahoe, California
Heavenly Flyer Zipline – This zip line is currently listed as “closed indefinitely”.
Mc Dermont Field House – Currently listed as closed for access renovation. This is an indoor zipline.
Mount Hermon, CA
Mount Hermon Redwood Canopy Tours – Enjoy scenic views of California Redwoods on six different ziplines and two sky bridges at heights of up to 150 feet! Santa Margarita, CA
Margarita Adventures – One of the best ziplines in California also has a vineyard/winery tour combo – four ziplines that span over 3000 feet combined and as high as 1300 feet. Smith River, California
XUS Zipline Rides – This course has six zip lines ranging from 400-600 ft each for a combined journey of some 2800 ft. New lines coming soon!
Yorba Linda, CA
We Totally Rock – Portable zip line rental in Southern California for special events, birthdays, etc. Minimum rental is 4 hours and includes 3 staff members.
Ziptrek Ecotours – At Embarcadero Square in downtown San Francisco. Currently the site says this zipline is closed, but I’d check back as it may be open in the future. Check out this video of the zipline experience below:
