Ziplines in Iowa

ziplines-iowaSky Tours Zipline – Experience all seven ziplines on your guided tour at Sky Tours Zipline, situated f in the hills and bluffs of Union Park. Step of the 45-foot tower and fly through the air, or take advantage of The Duel, a 2-line zip that spans more than 800 feet. The zips include: The Bunny Run, Rabbit Run, Skyline, Hawk’s Nest, Air Strike, Ground Speed, and The Duel.

High Adventure Challenge Course is made up of ropes, obstacles, and ziplines designed to challenge groups and individuals to build team work and decision making skills. The course is part of the University of Iowa.

Langwood Challenge Course – A challenge course designed for groups and teams to come together and build team work skills. The course features five traversing elements and two zip lines. Participants are forced to work as a team and come up with solutions to make it across the course. The course is located in southeast Iowa north of Wapello.

Fly the Zip – Fly the Zip, located at Bloomsbury Farm, ten minutes from Cedar Rapids, features a 1200-foot round trip zipline, 50 feet above the ground. You will fly high above Dry Creek, soaring over pastures and cornfields. The tandem zip also allows you to experience the ride side by side with your best friend.

The Pumpkin Ranch – The Pumpkin Ranch is home to a mega corn maze, featuring pony rides, wagon rides, and a 9 acre corn maze. The Fun Zone package includes a zip-line trip built into an obstacle course, guaranteed to wear out any kid, or adult. The ziplines are kid friendly, just a few feet above the ground, and the price is right at just $5 for the obstacle course.

Gee Willie Entertainment offers the Banzai Mobile Zipline, with its ability to be adjusted from 100 to 220 feet. You can also add an inflatable slide, for riders who chicken out at the last minute. The zipline can be used at any event, inside or outside, including fairs, festivals, school events, grand openins, fund-raisers, and more, throughout the state of Iowa.

SunStream Retreat Center – This course is made up of five ziplines, overlooking the valleys of Iowa in the Des Moines region. The retreat center also offers overnight accommodations and dining options. This is the perfect location for a group retreat, or a family gathering.
